Marnie Skillings

The 26 year old fine arts graduate from Sydney has seen her previous collections selling out quickly with those in the know having first pick of the fashion crop. Drawing inspiration from vintage silhouettes of the past, in her latest winter collection 'Lulu in Love' Kate puts the onus on French fashion design in the 1950s. Romance was Born

Since graduating from East Sydney Technical School, Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales combined forces to create vibrant and unique fashion label Romance was Born. Whilst the label is still in its infancy the talent of these two is immediately obvious. Having won the a trip to Milan they were offered internships with John Galliano but decided to return to the sunny shores of Australia to pursue the dream of having their own label.
